Our Mission
We are a St. Paul based FTC team from Nova Classical Academy. Team Tempest is now 3 years out of retirement, and we plan on continuing to foster FIRST community in the future.
Our Story
Our team started small, but through generous corporate sponsorships and donations we were able to assemble an arsenal of parts and electronics, enabling us to compete effectively with other FTC teams throughout the State.

Our team had great success in its early years. We achieved high runs in normal tournaments, and even qualified for state. However, after Covid hit and many seniors and juniors graduated, the team took a big hit in participation and dedication. Online Robotics killed the life that previously had flowed through the FTC program for years
But now things are different. With Covid cases falling, and Vaccines freely available, First has decided that relatively normal seasons can begin again, and with it comes a new era of Nova FTC.

In our first year back, our team qualified for the State competition, even with low participation and memberships following the pandemic.

Now begins the revival of STEM at Nova Classical Academy. With relatively small changes, we plan to improve our teams performance greatly, and improve our rankings even at the State level.
